This has a nice coffee flavor, and espresso to true to it's name. It is one of my favorite coffee flavors thus far. That being said, this can easily overpower a recipe. I find that max usage of .25% gets the job done with still being able to taste other flavors. I highly recommend this flavor. I would give it 5 stars, but it's ability to take over at such a low percentage is why I only give it 4.

    my go to coffee!

This is one of the few that is boldly coffee espresso without the typical stale, bitter or burned flavor that 90% of others present. It's not a single flavor wonder but enhances everything from tobaccos, Cocoa, deserts and the like. Use minimumly in three teams of 1.5 to .5%. One of my favorite recipes is 1% Dark Bean, 7% TFA Tiramisu and 2-3% TFA Vanilla Swirl. Caramel is optional. It needs a long steep to develop at 4 weeks for balanced complexity. Make 60ml at the least its that good!

First coffee I've tried and it is so good. Bull City is the best.

    Very Good

Posted by Owlish on 11th Oct 2017

My first recipe with this flavoring had too much of it, so I backed it down a good amount. My test batch of 10mL called for 1.6% of this flavor with 13.2% chocolate, 60/40 PG/VG. Nailed it. It's super potent, and tastes just like espresso.

Smells great but that's about it...

Posted by Unknown on 20th Sep 2017

The smell is soooooo nice! Now the real problem is the taste, maybe it's me but I've mixed a few batches and each time I still have a burnt popcorn taste on the exhale...

Not as good as I though it would be.

Posted by Spike Timmons on 6th May 2017

Wow I can't believe all the 5 stars on this one. Yes it is very strong and it has a bad after taste on the exhale. Even at 0.50% It can be used with other flavors but even at 0.50% it will over power strong flavors. I mixed this at 3% for testing and dropped the next test to 0.5%. I mixed 4% cap brownie v2 0.50% dark bean and 1% ethyl malto and it overpowered the brownie which is hard to imagine if you have tried the brownie it is quite noticeable. But this recipe still tasted ok. It was vapable. No where close to spot on coffee flavor IMO. Keep rockin Bull City!

    Absolutely Amazing

I'm a big coffee lover ... big enough that I roast my own beans. I was not disappointed in the slightest with this flavor. My own regret was not buying a bigger bottle.

    Best coffee flavor I've tried

Posted by Jim on 13th Mar 2017

This Dark Bean Coffee Espresso is a very rich, bold, full flavor that mixes well into the Carmel Macchiato recipe I've been enjoying for about six months now. If you're a coffeholic I suggest getting at least the 4oz size as it fits into about any coffee recipes you may have. It's a 5 star flavor for me.

Super concentrate on this flavor. Tried at 2% not knowing. Moved it down to .5% and with the vanilla flavors added to it and creams, all there is to say is WOW!!!!
