Great flavor
So delicious!

I like it!
I started using it as a sub for FW Yellow Cake in some recipes and it's pretty good. I now have a few recipes where this is my go to cake flavor.

must have
This flavor is a common one for me. love the taste!! I give it a 2 thumbs up goes with everything. Nonna's & Cake batter are the two that you won't go wrong with. I bought a 4 0z of Biscuit don't care for that one. I may just get rid of it on ebay one day.

great italian cake flavor
Fantastic and authentic Italian cake flavor. Realistic and only slightly sweet with a notable hint of lemon. I find that it plays well with others - fruits and light creams seem to work especially well.

A very different Cake
First off I want to say I gave it 5 stars due to the fact that for what it is, it's pretty good. From reading around this isn't a typical American style cake, but rather an Italian style of cake. It has a spongecake base and on top of that a note of lemon that pops in every now and again (might be good to use with more lemon if you enjoy a lemon cake). Another note stands out which is a light/mild Black Licorice flavor that might not be some folks cup of tea. I mixed this @3% going on 2 week normal sitting around to steep. I have not experimented with going higher or lower to see how that Black Licorice note changes. This is definitely something I can personally see adding into bakery mixes though. My next test will be to see how it plays with INW Biscuit and different Vanillas and Creams, possibly Lemon when I order it. It's a light flavored so it's not in your face. But beware the Licorice, though it is light/mild is noticeable at least @ 3%. Other flavorings added might cover that aspect, or playing with the percentage. Definitely worth playing around with.
