TFA Pineapple
Maybe I got a bad batch or something. This stuff was horrible no matter what I did with it. Even a 6 month steep didn't help. Tasted like what I would imagine furniture polish and Pine sol. No pineapple flavor whatsoever at any percentage. Didn't even have a good smell to it.

Great pineapple, unless you have a hard time with harshness...
Okay, I love this flavor. It is sharp, tart, and delicious for me. But aLOT of other folks experience some harshness with TFA Pineapple. If you have sensitive taste buds, be careful with this one... maybe VT Sugarloaf Pineapple or CAP Golden Pineapple would be a better alternative for people who experience harshness from some fruits. However, if that is not really a problem for you this is one helluva good pineapple @ 3-5%.

Dark and juicy.
Not bright like caps Golden pineapple and therefore, perfect pineapple to blend with it to give you a lasting complete pineapple

Umm
I don't know how people like this flavoring.
-
strong and candylike
Reminds me of the pineapple lifesavers candy even @ a half of a % it took over the recipe of strawberry ripe @7%and tfa watermelon @2%.. I was able to salvage the mix doubling the batch size without adding anymore pineapple which brought me to1/4% pineapple. I probably look for other pineapple flavors in the future.

sweet pineapple
This flavor tends to be a cold hit but still is tasty

Um, it's ok.
First off everyone please note this stuff will melt and crack plastic like no other!!!!! That being said I still like this flavor but also think I've grown out of it. Also something about a flavor that can melt plastic just doesn't seem like a good idea. It's super strong, has a pretty artificial flavor and doesn't work that well with other flavors. If you want a beautiful realistic Pineapple go with Inawera.

This is a sweet pineapple; use very little & get great flavor
I use this pineapple mostly for a pineapple upside down cake recipe. It is a super sweet & a potent flavor concentrate, so you don't need to use much at all. In my recipe, which also calls for 4 other flavors, a combined total of 14% flavoring, I only use 2%. I could probably reduce it down to 1.5% & not lose much flavor too. I recommend steeping juices with this flavor & definitely leave the cap open for at least a few days, and even better yet a week or longer, if you can wait. I'm not a patient person, so sometimes I don't wait as long as I should, but making 120 ml batches allows me to use what I have while waiting for a new batch to steep. That's my little trick to steeping since I have very little patience. Ha ha.
