    favorite white chocolate flavor

Posted by Ben on 18th Oct 2023

This is by far my favorite white chocolate flavor. First things first, I do see people mentioning some peppery aftertaste but I haven't encountered that myself despite using a lot of the liquid. I use this for making low calorie vegan shakes. This flavor is akin to a Lindt Lindor white chocolate truffle in my opinion. Like, pretty dang on point to that in fact. This is very different from the other white chocolate flavors on this site and while I do like the others this one is by far my favorite. Will definitely be grabbing a 16oz version of this before long, going through this super fast!

    An excellent and underrated flavor

This is one of my favorites. It's not a strong flavor but it's accurate. I use it at 18% with a touch of toasted toasted almond, peppermint and 3% super sweet to make a peppermint bark that I can't get enough of. I feel like this would also be an awesome note mixer with alot of flavors but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

    Nice accent

It does taste like white chocolate. I did get a slight pepperish taste initially, but have noticed that fades with aging and at lower %'s. Very good in peppermint bark recipes too with some sweetener...yum! I prefer tfa' s over fw' s version. Nice flavor to have for background support too in dessert type blends.

    Tough flavor to define

A pretty mellow flavor that doesn't really standout. I feel like I can't blame the flavor manufacturer for not getting it right because what is white chocolate anyway? A white chocolate morsel just tastes like a sweet bit of artificial vanilla to me. This flavor is hard to identify in a mix (I think it's easily overwhelmed by other flavors) and if the ratio is too high it becomes peppery. I haven't been excited about anything I've made with it yet.
