A nice cream with some uniqueness

    Posted by 100%VG on 27th Jun 2022

I bought Vienna Cream (FA) for a Rainbow Sherbet recipe that I have given up on. I reduced the Limetka Lime (INW), which is no longer available here, and then deleted it as I have never cared for lime anyway and that Lime was way too strong. I gave it to a friend, nearly all 4oz of it. There was also "Pomarańcza" Orange (INW) and Shisha Orange (INW) to alternate testing with, but oranges are hard to work with and, even though I love store-bought frozen Orange Sherbet, neither orange worked out for me in Orange Sherbet recipe conversion attempts, and maybe because I have never cared much for orange itself, either. So I am converting the recipe to a Raspberry Sherbet (which this is one of the ingredients in the original Rainbow Sherbet recipe), to which I have added Raspberry Sweet (TPA) to the recipe's original Malina Raspberry (INW) for more raspberry taste, and some other flavorings in the now 7 ingredient recipe, and it's almost perfected. This Vienna Cream (FA) is a nice cream with some uniqueness, kind of like an ice cream cone, and it works well with Fresh Cream (FA), which is also one of the ingredients in the original original recipe, which got even better after adding Cream (FLV), and with all of them together, I'm loving it so far. I may cut Vienna Cream (FA) and try Cream (FLV) in its place as an ice cream cone isn't what I'm going for now. The Rainbow Sherbet recipe was shared with me, but the whole recipe is much different now. As you may know, it's always a balancing act, especially for me as I am No Mixologist! Increase this a little and reduce that a little, add this, cut that, until you get it just right for yourself. It's nearly there. 4 Stars from me. Thank you, BCF!

    Sabe mal

No me gusta, no entiendo por que todos le dan 5 estrellas, lo use en una receta de Dona de fresa al 2% y sabe mal, aun y dejando macerar 40 días, a la basura.

    Fa Vienna cream

Have been using this for years.. Has a very creamy aspect. I add it to my fruity creams at low pct... .5 -1.5 pct depending in the recipe. Makes a creamy mix so much better.. This is a must have..don't be put off by the nail polish remover smell. Lol..the taste is soo worth it..

The tiniest drop on the tongue tastes like really 'ultra' cake or candy.

Perfect for a medium weight filling!

Vienna Cream is a flavor is fairly thick and rich, with good mouth feel. It's similar to a Bavarian cream. Almost pudding like, but not quite. it kind of balances between a heavy cream and a frosting without quite being either. In a standalone, it reminds me of the filling in an Italian Napolean dessert you can get at the Chinese buffett. Delicious!
