    Vanilla Custard V2 (CAP)

Posted by Unknown on 15th Apr 2016

Pretty tasty custard by itself at about 10% but, I usually mix with it. I mix anywhere from 2-4% depending on what I'm looking for. The V2 flavors are just as good as the V1 flavors, in my opinion, just not as heavy feeling. If you want that heaviness you'll need the V1's that have diketones in them. Nice vanilla flavor. BCV has set the bar for shipping and quality. If you want your stuff in just a couple days on the east coast, I suggest using them.

Best Non Eggy Custard Out There

Posted by Mondo on 26th Feb 2016

This one mixed at 8% is amazing. Throw a little EM @ 2% is also another staple in my rotation. Just as good as the V1 counterpart, minus the egginess but with more of a vanilla taste to it.

    Negligible Difference

Posted by Zach on 27th Jan 2016

I tried the v1 of custard which of course is not as safe as the v2, but delicious.(Didn't have the option of v2 at the time) The v2 works perfectly for me along with all of the people that I make juice for.(They all love it) I tend to use custard with a lot of different fruits. (Peaches, Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry) I saw someone was curious on percentages and whatnot. In a 30 mil bottle I use about 2-2.5 ml of custard(7-10%) along with 2-2.5 mls of whatever fruit I choose. If you're making a custard only juice the percentage could increase a bit. This is a flavor that gets better with steeping. Leave it for at LEAST 5 days, shaking occasionally. The longer, the better. I actually have 2 bottles of v2 custard on the way now, its going to be my new standard. If you don't have a good sweet flavor, vanilla custard is the one.

vanilla custard v2 cap on my wish list

Please, everyone posting a review here on bcv. Include percentage when giving a review. It's frustrating to read a little, or a few drops of this and that. If you're sharing.... Come on!

    vanilla custard v2 capella

Posted by Kenneth Bledsoe on 7th Dec 2015

I was looking for a safer alternative to the vanilla custard v1 and I think this is it. Adds rich creamy custard flavor to most mixes and is very versatile so I would definitely recommend this flavor because it is a must have for all DIY'ers

    percentage?

Posted by Unknown on 28th Nov 2015

Everyone says this is amazing. This is my first time with it and i must not be getting best percentage. Also most say a 2 to 3 week steep is best. Have different percentages steeping now. 100s of people cannot be wrong. Have 5% up to 20% steeping now. Will see where it pops in a couple weeks. Vanilla creamy cakey flavors are my adv. I hope this lives up to its reputation. Most say v1 is better but id rather not use it. Try this one.

    Superior to V1 Custard

Posted by Chris on 22nd Nov 2015

Amazing stuff , love it ,love it, love it . Nowadays there is no need to use the diketone loaded flavorings , treat yourself to the V2 products . BCV is, without question , the best and fastest shipper anywhere.

Custard Love! A must have flavor.

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Oct 2015

Being a Vanilla nut and loving custards. I was iffy about V2 after so long of V1. Just go a head and buy the biggest bottle. It is good stuff and o yes more please! Don't forget to grab some Dulce De Leche. Those 2 flavors have a love affair. Capella broke the mold on Vanilla Custard. Must have for the DIY box. This flavor is in so many recipes it is unreal. Steeping is a must and once you get the recipe the way you want it. Make a huge batch and put it away for a month.
