    Great pineapple:)

Necessity for Pineapple mix. Works well as predominant, mid level or accent. *Bright / sweet / juicy / authentic *Lacks pulp Pairing with Cap Golden Pine or any other pulpy fruit solves issue. Of coarse Cap S.S. gives it a great boost. As other reviewers noted: Acidic without 1 month steep, a bit harsh after 2 months. Keeping it below 4% and pairing with another fruit solves issue. Sugarloaf 3%, Golden pine 2%, Cap S.S. 0.5% works for simple, straight pineapple mix IMO.

This is a really great pineapple. It tastes like if you bought a ripe pineapple at the store and let it sit in the fridge for 2 days - then cut just the core (meatiest part) and ate that. Very sweet, very rich flavor. I think this is the only pineapple flavor I will ever need.

    OMG, real pineapple fruit flavor!

Posted by Craig T on 29th Dec 2019

What can I say it's amazingly real fruit when you try it. I mix it up to 6%. I've also been using it and different pastry or cake mixes at 5% Sugarloaf with 1% average of things like pastry or cake for a delicious desert? The flavor of VTA Sugarloaf is exactly like that first slice of real pineapple,

I forgot to include usage percentages. Tested at 3.5% with .2% super sweet. Awesome. Use in recipes at .75% so it doesn't overpower other flavors.

    Almost perfect

This is what every other pineapple wants to be when they grow up. I have been using this for awhile now and what I have discovered is, it gets harsh in a mix after a couple of months. I know this because I have made large quantities of a tigers blood that is slowly used over about six months. After I started adding Sugarloaf pineapple (the only change) the harshness appears after about 2 months.

This a tasty mildly sweet pineapple. More fruit than juice which I enjoy. Great as a stand alone and works well in a mix.

    I love it!

OMG heaven. I've never had a sugar loaf in RL so i cant attest to the reality of this flavor but man is it tasty. I get a slight acidic flavor, followed by sweet/tart mellow pineapple. Could definitely bump this one up to 4-6% to strengthen that pineapple flavor but it might make the acidic taste to powerful as well. If you love pineapple but hate how overwhelming the popular brands are this is definitely one to pick up.
