i bought this for coffee. It is very strong and has a slight chemical taste. I like Cappela’s better.

    Not pumpkin pie

This is an ingredient for my best pumpkin pie recipe, but don't expect pumpkin or pie unless you mix. This is very strong clove. You'll need pumpkin, vanilla custard, brown sugar, pie crust, pumpkin spice (clove) .25% Holiday spice (nutmeg) .5% and cinnamon spice.35% to get the full pumpkin pie flavor. Easy does it with the spices.

    Excellent background

My guess is the poor reviews came from using it as a stand-alone flavor or going way overboard and using it at 5% or more. at 0.5-1% it provides a nice secondary flavor to support/nudge the primary flavor. I use it in an 8% total flavoring cookie flavor at 0.5% and it has had no deleterious effect on the flavor, but I know when it is missing.

if I wanted rubbing alcohol I would of gotten it from Walmart . There is a overwhelming alcohol taste to this product and I can't use it for my juice. Disappointed

Definitely NOT pumpkin spice. This is just mainly cinnamon with some weird secondaries. It honestly tastes like you just licked the bottom of a old rubber boot. Nasty
