    Philly butter cake

This is a highly used flavor of mine that i always keep in stock.i dont use it on its own but in a lot of recipes to replace plain butter. I used this in a strawberry jam recipe at 1.5% to replace butter and it made the recipe better. Anyway its a good one

    Philadelphia butter cake

Sft at 3 % 1 week steep.. Just a plain light cake to me.. Upped to 4% and steeped another week and got a bit more butter and cake. I like it . But I've had Philly butter cake and it's a bit of a gooey buttery cake. At least the ones I've had with powdered sugar. It's just missing the gooey part, which maybe adding marshmallow can achieve that. All in all it is a rich slightly buttery cake. I will try it in a recipe and see where it goes. Will most likely purchase again.

    A rich, buttery bakery

**Philadelphia Buttercake (SC) (WF) 3.5% (7-24-20)** -- Ahhh the irony, I live close to Phila, and travel there often for work, and have NEVER had a Philly Buttercake. Maybe I should, because this flavor did start to pull back into my wheelhouse. A rich, buttery bakery is about the deal with this one. The butter which was fairly present, didn't taste like CAP's GB, but was still quite good. Very rich and the cake aspect (more of a bakery) evenly rounded it out. It wasn't overly complex to my tastes, but still good none the less. Sweetness was lower than expected, especially for a cake flavor. You could feel the richness. I didn't get any overwhelming notes from the cake/bakery, maybe a smidge of vanilla, but it was fairly nondescript. Overall, this one worked really well as a butter centric bakery. **8.25/10**.
