Excellent
It has all the depth of a blood orange. I am really happy with this. You have to keep it shaken well because it separates a little as it is natural. This is my favorite orange. It works excellent in cocktail style recipes.

Zest
I was expecting the flavor of the fruit but instead It tastes like the rind or zest of orange and is very similar to the bitter flavor you get from grapefruit. I would definitely say that it is a good quality flavoring just not the type of flavor I was wanting or expecting. Even numbs my tongue slightly like zest would/does. However, if you are looking for a zest flavor then this would be perfect and does provide a realistic tasting orange rind flavor. Should be called blood orange zest to be more accurate.

Not sure how they did it
This is the best example of what a concentrated flavoring should be like. It is exactly like the fruit itself, spot on. You have to smell it to believe it, 110% worth it, and it is very concentrated so it will last a long time. Blends the best so far with any citrus mixes I've made so far. It can be overpowering though so test small mixes..

Intense flavor.
Provides the orange rind type flavor that balances nicely with other Orange flavorings. I don't like the color additive, I feel it's an unnecessary component.

Unique
A different orange. Won't say it tastes exactly like Blood Orange but it is a bit smoother and less candy tasting then other oranges. Definitely great to pair with your other citrus flavors. (Tasted @: .5%-2%)

The Other Orange Flavor
Blood Orange is a very good when you want orange flavor but not that familiar flavor everyone knows and likes. I don't have any "normal" orange flavors to really compare the difference, so I could be missing out, like when I finally caved in and bought Strawberry (also FW), which turned out to be a really nice flavor. I like adding Blood Orange to tropical flavor mixes for an added twist. I don't use stand alone flavors, so I don't know if this would be good as a single flavor, but as a mixer it is really good.

Everyone wants a dreamsicle or orange cream... to me, this is the perfect orange cream without adding anything else. It is a mellow and slightly sweet, and almost creamy orange as a stand alone. I also use it when I want to mellow other citrus mixes.
