- Out of the Hopsteiner program, Lotus outperformed thousands its siblings, stemming from a cross of Apollo, Cascade, Eastern Gold (a heritage Japanese planting,) and a USDA male bred from wild Neomexicanus stock. Lotus displays exceptional aromatic characteristics, boasting waves of Orange and Vanilla with notes of candied grape and tropical fruit. Some have also noted jasmine, cedar, and honey aromas.
