Juicy Lemon Flavor-Cap

Its lemon but not sour enough for me to cut thru other fruits but may enhance other lemon based recipes like lemonades,merengue pies but FA Slicey or SSA Natural lemon is a bit more up my alley as SSA natural is much like FE lemon where its half candied and half natural and fear this may fade a bit.There's no ratings for Cap lemon drop as of yet but may give that one a shot but again its not bad and a good enhancer

I see now its says NEW! what has changed? i use the OG juicy Lemon and want to know if trying this will change my recipe?

I've tried a lot of lemon flavors over the years and this one is pretty dead on. It's tart and fresh like a real lemon. I used this in my Element Pink Lemonade clone vs Flavorah Lemonade and it added a little more zest to the mix. Will have to see how it holds up with a longer steep but this is one of my new favorite flavors I've tried recently.

This is an alcohol based flavoring, something I wished I would have known. This particular flavoring does not play well with bakery notes, but with fruity recipes it will blend in quite nice and give pop to support other fruits (after you leave top off bottle) to air out the alcohol. Other than that this is good, just not what I needed.

Capellas Juicy Lemon is a real winner. I use it as mid range note in juices like my blackberry cobbler, or my grapefruit Smash (caffienated grapefruit with citrus kick), or as a front in mixes like my lemon sugar cookie. This is a sweet lemon candy type flavor, very clean, not cloying whatsoever. It doesn't have that visceral rind taste like jungle or flavor express, which is why I like it in baked good type mixes. I usually mix this from 5 - 6%, much more and you lose the fresh, juicy, crispy taste that folks love about it. Note: quite a few customers have told me they hate lemon mixes, and I've let them try my blackberry cobbler, which turned their opinion enough for me to get them hooked on a true lemon flavor. So try a little bottle of this even if it's not something you'd normally love, it will probably surprise you.
