    cakey donut

It tastes a lot like a cruller. A little bit cakey, but very tasty and slightly sweet. Pairs well with fruits.

Was looking for something to remind me of that "loaded" glazed donut taste, and this was it!

I'm on version 5 of donut, they have all tasted good, just trying for perfection.

Great place to start, but not a standalone flavor.

This flavor makes mixing pastries a breeze, when you know what other flavors to add to it. On its own, the flavor is... strange. I can't put my finger on what exactly it tastes like. However, pairing it up with FW Yellow Cake, CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl, and CAP New York Cheesecake makes one hell of a cheese danish flavor.

Use this flavor at 6-8% with other flavors and you'll get the glazed donut flavor you're looking for

By itself not so good. Mixed with the right recipe, awesome.

Mixed with vanilla custard, peanut butter, and meringue makes an awesome glazed doughnut flavor. But by itself.....

    Glazed Doughnut?

Posted by Samsb on 14th Nov 2015

This glazed doughnut is a bit too spicy on its own to use by itself. I typically use this at 8 to 9% as a primary in doughnut recipes BUT I need to add 1-2% FLAVOR WEST "yellow cake" to knock down some of its cinnamon spicy undertones. Its a decent doughnut but a bit too spicy on its own.

    Have you ever had Playdough?

Posted by Ethan Bridges on 4th Nov 2015

This is not a bad review on behalf of BCV, by any means. BCV is great. Capella has to take all the heat on this one. This is the furthest thing away from a glazed doughnut. It taste like play dough and is overpowering with anything you mix it with regardless of what percent you mix it at.
