Eisai was the Buddist monk who brought the original camellia sinensis tea plant to japan. Centuries later the Japanese had developed their own ceremony with strong, powdered green tea called "matcha." This is the flavor for brilliant, green tea tones.

Best green tea I've tried so far
More like matcha than loose leaf, but a very good one. I like it between 1.5% and 2.0%.

this is my all time favorite tea flavoring EVER. It's hard to describe but it's a light, almost fruity green tea flavor with the perfect amount of slightness. it's good right away (no steeping needed), it's not bitter or unpleasant and it actually tastes like tea. I prefer this at 0.50% as it got a little too sweet for me at higher percentages (I do not get matcha from this at all, however)
