I'm not entirely happy with the taste.
I tried this at 5.5% as a standalone and after three weeks I think there's something missing. Don't get me wrong; it has a decent chocolate taste, but I'm also picking up on something else that my taste buds aren't enjoying.

Great in like a coffee
Made a delicious chocolate mocha on accident with this. Wanted to put it with banana bread originally. Wasn't the right flavor bend, gunna use inw milk chocolate next. But this is a nice chocolate syrup for like a sundae flavor. Quite versatile for sure

I never have used version 1, but this is a great flavor. Around 3-4% is where I like it. At 5% it totally overpowers other flavors.

Great chocolate flavor
This was good right away, no steeping necessary, and tastes like semi-sweet chocolate to me. Not too sweet, but enough chocolate to satisfy the choco-monster in me. It's pretty dark, and will probably be a coil-clogger, but it's good enough I don't care. If it clogs them, I'll deal with it. :) I never tried the original version, so I don't know how it compares to that, but this is very good and I'll definitely reorder when I run out. And Bull City Vapors is the BEST! Great service and selection, fast shipping, and everything was packed so well... I'm fairly impressed.

Pretty Good
It isn't as strong as the original version but same flavor profile and I prefer flavorings without diacetyls and this is an excellent choice.
