Custard Flavor-FA

I have tried at 10,15, 20,30% and at 30 where the flavor really comes out. its more of a lemon zest.... i don't say that as a good thing... its junk

Not my favorite custard by far. The reason for the 4 stars is that it is a custard and taste is subjective. Others may love it so I would give it a try if I were you. I personally like the other custard extracts better.

It took me a few years of DIY to really mess with this FA custard. Then I made a really good recipe with it. Then I realized that this custard gives much body and boost to fruits and other bakery notes. I find this custard versatile and I use it a lot. 4% is my mixing sweet spot. I never do this flavor alone. This is not a vanilla custard. They do it different in Italy and FA Italy you did good!

I am an avid Cap Vanilla Custard fan. I enjoy unhealthy flavors like I enjoy unhealthy food. So I was ready to be disappointed with this flavor, I didn't expect much. I was very surprised how much I like this flavor. Right now I mixed with Vienna Cream, Meringue, Vanillin (10% in PG) Graham Cracker (FW) and Bavarian Cream (TFA), my new favorite ADV. I enjoy it standalone at maybe 2%, or with just a drop of meringue. also mixed with FA cookie and Cap toasted almond makes a yummy lemon almond biscotti type flavor.

This is a great body enhancer. It adds a lot of depth to any juice. The only complaint I have is that it mellows out any flavor that I have added it to.

This is a smooth custard with a slight lemon zest in the back ground. I've used it with fruits and berry flavors, creams and grahm cracker. It gives me that custard taste I look for. It's smoother than cap Vanilla Custard. It comes through well after about a week long steep. But, after two weeks it really comes around. If your a custard fan. Then you have to try this stuff.

This isn't a VANILLA custard at all. It is more of a plain custard with a very slight hint of lemon, like if you grated a tiny amount of lemon rind into homemade custard (minus the vanilla flavoring). It does take at least 3-5 days steeping, minimum, for the custard notes to really develop. It is also a sweeter flavoring, sweeter than something like Capella's Vanilla Custard. I found it very pleasing with no 'chemically-ness' even at amounts up to 8% standalone...you probably won't require that high of a % though. Mixes very well with fruits and, of course, anywhere you would like a custard. Very good, just different if you've only used vanilla custards. Worth trying imo.
