    An excellent berry flavor

    Posted by K.M. on 11th May 2017

I've never been a fan of anything blueberry but after years of seeing people rave about this flavor I decided to give it a try. I must say that it really does live up to the hype. It is somewhat blueberry-ish, but it's so much better imo. It's a dark blue/deep purple berry flavor wkth a blueberry essence (my opinion only). So far I love it at 3% in my strawberry cheesecake mix and with vanilla custard and meringue. Quite happy!

    My favorite flavor.

This is my number one flavor. Great standalone but awesome with just about anything. I use it a lot mixed with FlovorArt Custard. Typically 1% billberry to 3% custard. Works great with just about any dessert mix.

    Little goes a LONG way

.5% is enough to really round out your blueberry. I find this a very strong flavor. It doesn't work with yogurt.

More purple than blue, great flavor.

Posted by TheDragon on 21st Nov 2016

This flavor is a step darker than a blueberry. Little tang, and packs a decent punch too. Great accent to blueberries or any dark fruit for that matter. Great flavor to have in your collection. Stop considering and just purchase it already! You won't regret this one.

    I love this flavor

Posted by Stephen Moore on 30th Sep 2016

it is a darker richer blueberry (some have said they are European berries but I am sure I have tasted something like it before) and Bilberry does a great job playing with wild Blueberry! As always BCF ships flawlessly and super fast for me!

So, I reviewed the wrong product . Bilberry is a great flavor. I use it a low percentages . IMO it's even better with TFA -blueberry extra or Capella - blueberry . It just brings those flavors out .

    Champion Bil-Blueberry

Posted by Fog Walker on 9th Apr 2016

My go to BB. Depends how you use it. Depends where you're from. Some are used to blueberries, and others bilberries. None the less you want this in your arsenal now. Strong flavor, you can get a little or a lot but you won't need much. Low percentage tastes the rind and flesh almost earth? of the blueberry, with the a slightly dark background. Higher can get sour, slightly dry more aged blueberry that some may not like and some exactly what they are looking for. Pairs amazing with other fruits and is a concrete flavor to brighten or make blueberry stand out in your recipes. Stop reading this and click add to cart. You won't regret it. (Tasted @: .5% .75% 1% 1.5% 2%) (save yourself the trouble, never go above 2 if you really want to master this flavor, if you do good luck)

    Bilberry NOT Blueberry

Posted by Jesse Schultz on 29th Mar 2016

Though this isn't my "go-to" blueberry it still is rather nice. It has more of a floral note to it. If your looking for a "real blueberry" flavor this isn't it. But the other 5 blueberry flavors I have aren't ether. Mixing 2% FA's Bilberry 3%CAP blueberry and 5%TFA blueberry extra make a rather tasty blueberry.
