    Zeppola

Nice plain fried donut. No cinnamon, not too sweet, but a powdery sugar, not granulated sweet, no yeasty off notes. I get a lighter fried cake, smooth texture with not quite crispy edges. This with wf glazed donut or this and a small amount of joy. Add your filling- fruits, custards, jams, chocolate, creams, vanilla. This is useful.

    Not a donut!

But it's still good! It's more like a puff pastry. Pairs well with creams and vanilla or in a bakery mix to give it a "crust" flavor.

    meh.. just powdered sugar

Posted by Craig Talley on 11th Feb 2018

Started at 2‰ and went to 6% but only got powdered sugar without any pastry, dough, fried or otherwise at even 4 weeks steeped. Being Italian I had hoped for a taste of Milan but nothing doing.

    Doughnut goodness

Awesome flavor. Best doughnut concentrate yet. The star of my strawberry doughnuts recipe. Grab some now! Bull city ships faster than anyone. My order is usually processed within 12 hours! Keep up the good work!

    zeppola

I have used this to make 3 different recipes. One being just a stand alone so I could get an idea of the right ratio. The allowed each to steep 7 days. I am not saying this is bad flavor and everyone has a different preferences. But to me it is so similar to cinnamon Danish and cinnamon cookie that it is almost a mix of the two.

    Great flavor!

Not a donut like Capellas, more like a light, flaky pastry crust. Not super sweet, but tasty.

    Oh Wow!

This is amazingly accurate. I get a fried cake doughnut. Barely sweet, but wondefully rich and definitively "fried". A blank canvus to add all sorts of other notes to

If you want an authentic fried dough taste, look no further. it was great right away but after a few weeks its amazing. do yourself a solid and buy AT LEAST a 30ml bottle.
