    Joy

Joy Is one of those flavor enhancers you’re really have to figure out, I’ve use this in a couple of my bakery recipes, a little bit tricky but nevertheless it works pretty damn good if you work on it a little bit, just a couple drops and you will figure it out, thumbs up on this one is one of those flavor enhancers you’re really have to figure out, I’ve use this in a couple of my bakery recipes, a little bit tricky but nevertheless it works pretty damn good if you work on it a little bit, just a couple drops and you will figure it out, thumbs up on this one

Mix with other flavors at 2% or less...

This is one of those flavors you really have to know how to use. It is pretty foul as a stand alone, but mixed with Cap s Funnel Cake and FLV s Cream & Cookies, it becomes a tasty Fried Oreo.

If you like yeast, then you'd love this... Tastes like yeast and beer... Awful.

ive used Joy FA religously for a couple of years. until something changed with this flavor. ive ordered 2 new bottles from different companies and they both sucked. Joy used to be a great tool in diying, now its horrible. regardless of how long it steeps that fermented taste wont stop.

    Just get it!

Use it with doughnut. Or one of my favorite recipes - Palmiers 1% INW Biscuit, 0.5% FA Cardamom, 2% JOY, 1% FA Meringue

    Amazing

Smells and tastes like carnival cotton candy. Use with a few other flavors and it pairs to make an excellent juice

once you learn how to use it, you cant go without it

I hate for anyone to waste time and especially money. if you've bought this flavor and cant seem to get it right please don't give up! it can be a very tricky flavor if you've not done your homework on it. as with any flavor that I buy I research reviews and recipes before I try that flavor. IMO Joy should never be used above 1%. it can give you either the waxy icing, plain icing, or powder sugar effect if used correctly and in conjunction with the correct flavors. it is a flavor that I MUST always have. use Joy at .75%, choc glazed donut CAP 7%, yellow cake FW 1%, biscuit INW .75%. you should get the icing effect pretty good outta this recipe. I let mine steep for a week to allow the choc glazed donut to calm down.

Some love it, I pretty much hate it.

Yeasty seems to be the description from those who dislike. I'd second that. Not sweet or funnel cakeish to me. Certainly won't use it stand alone. Maybe I'll try it at .5% in some mixes.
